Abstract Introduction Rhinocerebral mucormycosis is a rare and severe form of opportunistic fungal infection that can develop rapidly cause significant mortality, particularly among diabetic patients suffering from ketoacidosis. Diagnosing rhinocerebral during the early stages challenging. Case presentation We describe case secondary to acute pancreatitis in patient In this case, condition was not diagnosed optimal treatment window. we therefore provide thorough overview related clinical findings histopathological characteristics, discuss potential differential diagnoses.
